The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Sorges got a freekick which was hit by Élie Gamet. After 12 played minutes Louvil got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Cosquer. Louvil's Timothé Bastin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clem Riss in the 14th minute of play. Élie Gamet took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timothé Bastin. Timothé Bastin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 28 minutes, Marc-Antoine Desire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorges and the Louvil players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Junior Aube fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Louvil's protests and gave Junior Aube a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Louvil's Junior Aube got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jolan Riffaud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrien Boche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Clem Riss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timothé Bastin. Louvil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clem Riss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jolan Riffaud to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrien Boche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jolan Riffaud in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Louvil's Stanislas Sigrist got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 95th match minute, Louvil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jolan Riffaud to maneuver through the defense.
