Guy Durant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafail Rusev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13thth minute of the game Guillaume Chaine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guy Durant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Reynald Baillou made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rodolphe Sol immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute, Gerardo Abeitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafail Rusev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rafail Rusev came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Valette Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafail Rusev couldn't finish the play. Guillaume Chaine took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guy Durant. Guy Durant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Guy Durant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Rafail Rusev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valette Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafail Rusev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Valette Stars were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Abeitia to make the kick off. Reynald Baillou kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Guy Durant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 55th minute of the match. Guy Durant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafail Rusev in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Guy Durant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Guillaume Chaine made a precise shot to the right of Guy Durant. Lyon 69ers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Guy Durant came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine. But to his dismay, Guillaume Chaine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Beaune in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Reynald Baillou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyon 69ers and the Valette Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynald Baillou kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Guy Durant made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Rafail Rusev sent off a good shot on target. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Hönes in the 72nd minute of play. Antonin Lory was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 78 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Anatol Hönes came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romaric Orsoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrien Tanneau having to interfere. Adrien Tanneau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Abeitia went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. If Rafail Rusev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
