Spectators: 9204 (Terracing: 6954, Seating: 2070, VIP seats: 180) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gaétan Bouchard took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Loïc Dromard came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loïc Dromard couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Sellberg in the 12th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Joe Camp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djamel Malouda got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gilbert Reix. 18 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Morientes came free, but Joe Camp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Sellberg in the 20th minute of play. Silvestre Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Hamard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Sellberg in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joe Camp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Sellberg came free, but Joe Camp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djamel Malouda hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Firman Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Camp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gösta Sellberg struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Joe Camp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for En Avant Nikko. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Salim Vera hit a great ball. En Avant Nikko's Albert Harbuz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cats and dogs. Silvestre Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaétan Bouchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Derwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaétan Bouchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, En Avant Nikko's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Hamard came free, but Silvestre Derwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match En Avant Nikko got a corner. Cats and dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Harbuz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 60th minute, Egoitz Lagunas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Firman Morientes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Nicolas Hamard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cats and dogs made a substitution. Terry Sauvestre replaced Gaétan Bouchard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Sauvestre in the 72nd minute of play forced En Avant Nikko's goalkeeper Silvestre Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. En Avant Nikko's Silvestre Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Firman Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Camp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firman Morientes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Egoitz Lagunas got a free kick in the 87th minute. Silvestre Derwin came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Cats and dogs's Terry Sauvestre. But to his dismay, Terry Sauvestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cats and dogs's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
