After some careless play in the Lyon 69ers defense, Jānis Blaumanis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy Durant. The Lyon 69ers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guy Durant should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Ruslan Malinovskiy came free, but Guy Durant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes MORCY Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Malinovskiy. When Demirhan Yalap came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the MORCY Saint Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demirhan Yalap couldn't finish the play. MORCY Saint Germain's Cássio Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatol Hönes in the 26th minute of play. Guy Durant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruslan Malinovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 30th minute of the match. MORCY Saint Germain's Cássio Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save MORCY Saint Germain from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the game, Mauricio Orlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MORCY Saint Germain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyon 69ers the free kick. 37 minutes into the match, Anatol Hönes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Ramos. MORCY Saint Germain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anatol Hönes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tom Beaune could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cássio Ramos made a huge save. In the 41st minute Lyon 69ers were awarded a corner. Slaveyko Grúbchev went to the cornerflag to take it. Lyon 69ers's Slaveyko Grúbchev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cássio Ramos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. MORCY Saint Germain's Cássio Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatol Hönes in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ruslan Malinovskiy made the kick off in the second half. Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Malinovskiy in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Ruslan Malinovskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORCY Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruslan Malinovskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, MORCY Saint Germain's Guy Durant threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruslan Malinovskiy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 66 minutes of play, Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anatol Hönes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyon 69ers's Romaric Orsoni was substituted for Wendell Borges. With a little luck, Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant got control of the ball when Demirhan Yalap tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cássio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Lecanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MORCY Saint Germain's Jānis Blaumanis got a free kick in the 86th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in MORCY Saint Germain fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! MORCY Saint Germain:s Cássio Ramos showed great skill when he stopped Anatol Hönes:s penalty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lyon 69ers fans cheered their team off the field, for while MORCY Saint Germain had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
