Clem Fath was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Malcom Vuillemin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Malcom Vuillemin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Malcom Vuillemin took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clem Fath. Clem Fath dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Patxi Bravard made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cosa nostra Lyon's Thierry Platon. In the 33rd minute, Tim Ménet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosa nostra Lyon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sébastien Kirsch was slow to take the kick. During this time Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's players had a chance to rest. Sébastien Kirsch made a great header on Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's corner, it was just that Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bambas in the 37th minute of play forced Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's goalkeeper Gabin Pichereau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 59 minutes, Malcom Vuillemin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcom Vuillemin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's Gabin Pichereau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Coqs Rouges Bordeaux from getting a goal against them. Sébastien Kirsch hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gabin Pichereau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Rivera in the 69th minute of play forced Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's goalkeeper Gabin Pichereau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Malcom Vuillemin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Clem Fath was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Coqs Rouges Bordeaux's Gabin Pichereau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Coqs Rouges Bordeaux from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Cosa nostra Lyon defense, Jacob Maigrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clem Fath. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clem Fath should have stopped the shot. Cosa nostra Lyon's Hercule Frison was substituted for Bacary Kerneis. Malcom Vuillemin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcom Vuillemin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clem Fath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Coqs Rouges Bordeaux were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Cosa nostra Lyon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sébastien Kirsch took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Evan Grave managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Evan Grave blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clem Fath having to make a save. Malcom Vuillemin scored 5-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clem Fath, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cosa nostra Lyon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coqs Rouges Bordeaux.
