With a little luck, Ground Control's Fabien Nunes got control of the ball when Malcom Vuillemin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evan Grave in the 43rd minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcom Vuillemin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coqs Rouges Bordeaux. Gabin Pichereau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
