Tristan Vicente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amine Philibert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. After some careless play in the Ground Control defense, Jules Spinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Nunes. The Ground Control fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Nunes should have stopped the shot. Tristan Vicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Karakevych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amine Philibert might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Vicente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amine Philibert ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Ground Control's Tristan Vicente threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amine Philibert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Les 3 Quilles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ground Control's Charlie Wiltord quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Samuel Alves, made in the 33rd minute of the game. If Anton Karakevych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les 3 Quilles FC's Tristan Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Karakevych in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Les 3 Quilles FC's Rick Grimes got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amine Philibert got free with Tristan Vicente in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Amine Philibert fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Amine Philibert a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Amine Philibert got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Ground Control players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Les 3 Quilles FC were winning 1-2.

Jules Spinelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Tristan Vicente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amine Philibert's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Kapelski lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Fabien Nunes. Les 3 Quilles FC's Enzo Martino was substituted for Özcan Sulasi. Ground Control were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Les 3 Quilles FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Batiste Lassalle took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Batiste Lassalle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tristan Vicente quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Les 3 Quilles FC's Tristan Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amine Philibert in the 79th minute of play. Jules Spinelli struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Fabien Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les 3 Quilles FC. Ground Control's attentive Batiste Lassalle managed to snatch the ball when Samuel Alves made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ground Control's zone, Jules Spinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Nunes came out of the goal and Jules Spinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jules Spinelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabien Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jules Spinelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabien Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Spinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Anton Karakevych managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Karakevych was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Les 3 Quilles FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
