With a little luck, R.C. Marseille's Didier Lafargue got control of the ball when Louison Gaulier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lilian Montane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Melon in the 9th minute of play. Lilian Montane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Toader, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gilles Morisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Didier Lafargue made a huge save. After 13 minutes R.C. Marseille's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Steevy Ferlay who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bob Lebœuf got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Didier Lafargue quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When LE TALADRO F.C's Gilles Morisson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye R.C. Marseille's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Toader in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lilian Montane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Renan Bouzat got a free kick in the 18th minute. Didier Lafargue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilles Morisson in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, LE TALADRO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steevy Ferlay to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Louison Gaulier came free, but Didier Lafargue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louison Gaulier in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. A well done corner resulted in Alexandre Grave drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by LE TALADRO F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renan Bouzat was slow to take the kick. During this time R.C. Marseille's players had a chance to rest. The LE TALADRO F.C fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when LE TALADRO F.C's Gilles Morisson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Didier Lafargue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louison Gaulier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Renan Bouzat got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Louison Gaulier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Lafargue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louison Gaulier to strike the kick off in the second half. Lilian Montane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Toader in the 54th minute of the match. If Mihail Toader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Louison Gaulier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Lafargue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilian Montane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyrille Melon's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when LE TALADRO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Severens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marseille's Didier Lafargue. Didier Lafargue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Djibril Mourot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Lilian Montane made a huge save. Jean-Marc Buisson got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cyrille Melon. Lilian Montane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Melon in the 81st minute of play. Cyrille Melon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Lilian Montane made a huge save. Renan Bouzat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lilian Montane came out and tried to block the shot, but Renan Bouzat slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 85th minute. Marseille's goalie prevented a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. LE TALADRO F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from R.C. Marseille for much of the match.
