Renan Bouzat was slow to take the kick. During this time R.C. Marseille's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Cyprien Auguste drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Les diables noirs's goalkeeper. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duda Terra in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didier Lafargue saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Terra came free, but Didier Lafargue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Les diables noirs got a freekick which was hit by Camille Valli. Les diables noirs's Hermínio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Les diables noirs from getting a goal against them. After 43 minutes, Renan Bouzat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the R.C. Marseille and the Les diables noirs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute of the match Ashe Swain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Didier Lafargue showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyrille Melon in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermínio Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duda Terra had several of the R.C. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Didier Lafargue as he didn't even see the shot coming. R.C. Marseille made a substitution. Djibril Mourot replaced Mihail Toader. With a little luck, R.C. Marseille's Didier Lafargue got control of the ball when Duda Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ashe Swain made a great header on Les diables noirs's corner, it was just that R.C. Marseille's Didier Lafargue managed to reach the ball for a save. Les diables noirs were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after R.C. Marseille's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Léopold Guiraud took the corner. Les diables noirs's Léopold Guiraud was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Didier Lafargue in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Aspvik came free, but Didier Lafargue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Les diables noirs's Hermínio Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrille Melon in the 86th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Steve Gabrielli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R.C. Marseille's Didier Lafargue was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Song Xing Le hit a great ball. R.C. Marseille's Didier Lafargue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save R.C. Marseille from getting a goal against them. Cyprien Auguste hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, R.C. Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djibril Mourot to maneuver through the defense.
