The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Larson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Nimass in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cedric Van Langhendoncx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabien Canu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Jordan Moalic in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lunar Park's Esteban Alvarado. If Nichifor Nimass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Nimass took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Cedric Van Langhendoncx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Girondins4Ever's John-Paul Marquant was substituted for Nichifor Nimass. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Paul Marquant, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
