Spectators: 6844 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 0) Jákup Stanković started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Tórður Danielsen fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kunoy FS's protests and gave Tórður Danielsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Kunoy FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tórður Danielsen to maneuver through the defense. John Carlsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jóan Frederiksberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kunoy FS's goalkeeper Jóan Frederiksberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Velbastadur's John Carlsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jóan Frederiksberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikkjal á Borg in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amed Davy Sylla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the game, John Carlsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jóan Frederiksberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kunoy FS's zone, Jákup Stanković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jóan Frederiksberg came out of the goal and Jákup Stanković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marni Jacobsen's late challenge caught a Velbastadur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marni Jacobsen helped the player get up and apologised. If Jákup Stanković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When John Carlsen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Velbastadur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Carlsen couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Velbastadur's goal looked a bit too open when Mikkjal á Borg came free, but Amed Davy Sylla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Carlsen got free with Jóan Frederiksberg in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jóan Frederiksberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jákup Stanković's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A collision led to Velbastadur getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kristjan Midjurd hit a great ball. If Jákup Stanković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Amed Davy Sylla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torkil Olsen in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torkil Olsen got free with Amed Davy Sylla in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Velbastadur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Mikkjal á Borg scored to the left of an out of position Amed Davy Sylla, making the score, 1-1. Jákup Stanković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jóan Frederiksberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Mikkelsen in the 65th minute of the match. John Carlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jóan Frederiksberg having to interfere. If Torkil Olsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Mikkelsen charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Mikkelsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Brian Mikkelsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jákup Stanković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jóan Frederiksberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Velbastadur's John Carlsen got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mikkjal á Borg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amed Davy Sylla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Velbastadur's Amed Davy Sylla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkjal á Borg in the 86th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Velbastadur got a freekick which was hit by John Potemkin. Torkil Olsen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Amed Davy Sylla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kunoy FS. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Velbastadur players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
