Bárður Tórgarð took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikkjal Nielsen. Mikkjal Nielsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mikkjal Nielsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikkjal Martin Knudsen in the 7th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Mikkjal Martin Knudsen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vatnsoyrar's Mikkjal Nielsen. Mikkjal Nielsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13 minutes, Mikkjal Martin Knudsen made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Vatnsoyrar's Mikkjal Nielsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, John Tórgarð was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Depil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vatnsoyrar the free kick. A collision led to Depil getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. John Tórgarð hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Klæmint Danielsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ásbjørn Djurhuus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Depil's Ásbjørn Djurhuus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Depil from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikkjal Martin Knudsen in the 27th minute of play forced Vatnsoyrar's goalkeeper Mikkjal Nielsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikkjal Nielsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bárður Tórgarð in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikkjal Martin Knudsen in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikkjal Nielsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bárður Tórgarð fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkjal Nielsen having to interfere. If Mikkjal Martin Knudsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Mikkjal Martin Knudsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikkjal Nielsen was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Depil's Bárður Tórgarð got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atli Martin Knudsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikkjal Nielsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atli Martin Knudsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Bárður Tórgarð fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkjal Nielsen having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ásbjørn Djurhuus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marni Benjaminsen in the 54th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Depil got a freekick which was hit by Suni Samuelsen. Marni Benjaminsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tonny á Borg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Depil's protests and gave Tonny á Borg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Tonny á Borg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Símun Heri Dam sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ásbjørn Djurhuus skillfully saved the ball. Mikkjal Martin Knudsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikkjal Nielsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Mikkjal Martin Knudsen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikkjal Nielsen. The goal made the score 1-4. Ásbjørn Djurhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klæmint Danielsen in the 74th minute of play. If Suni Samuelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vatnsoyrar's Mikkjal Nielsen got control of the ball when Mikkjal Martin Knudsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vatnsoyrar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Hans Gunnarsson scored to the left of an out of position Mikkjal Nielsen, making the score, 1-5. In the 83rd minute Mikkjal Martin Knudsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikkjal Nielsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Suni Samuelsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With an all-out effort, Depil's Mikkjal Nielsen threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikkjal Martin Knudsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Depil getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bárður Tórgarð hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Depil's Suni Samuelsen got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Símun Heri Dam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ásbjørn Djurhuus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Suni Samuelsen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Depil's Ásbjørn Djurhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marni Benjaminsen in the 96th minute of play. Depil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
