The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Per Rói Jacobsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. Per Rói Jacobsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rógvi Jacobsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Kruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens Olsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The long shot by Marni Frederiksberg in the 11th minute really tested Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Brian Færø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rógvi Jacobsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Christian í Lon Jacobsen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Vestmanna FS's Amed Olsen in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Vestmanna FS's Herbert Kruse got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rógvi Jacobsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Færø in the 30th minute of the match. Sigurd Nielsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen having to interfere. Rógvi Jacobsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Vestmanna FS's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Hansen came free, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Zagueiros FC's Per Rói Jacobsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vestmanna FS's goalkeeper Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sigurd Nielsen kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Kruse to make the kick off. Jens Olsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Færø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Zagueiros FC's goalkeeper Rógvi Jacobsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Færø. Jens Olsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Zagueiros FC's zone, Herbert Kruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rógvi Jacobsen came out of the goal and Herbert Kruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Rói Jacobsen kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Sigurd Nielsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vestmanna FS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zagueiros FC.
