Tíðarskeið's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens Rein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Øssur Thomassen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Atacantes's zone, Jens Christian Hansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Øssur Thomassen came out of the goal and Jens Christian Hansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Øssur Thomassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Christian Hansen in the 13th minute of the match. Mikkjal Højsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jákup Samuelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tíðarskeið's zone, Sorin Niclasen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The crowd rose to their feet as Atacantes's Arnbjørn Olsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jákup Samuelsen. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Sorin Niclasen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Jens Christian Hansen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tíðarskeið fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Jens Christian Hansen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amed Nolsøe kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A hard shot 47 in the game by Sorin Niclasen from a close distance when the talented Jákup Samuelsen managed to make a qualified save. Tíðarskeið's players were relieved. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The referee gave Mikkjal Højsted a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
