But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torkil Rein couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Sund Bóltfelag 's Christian Høgni Jacobsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rógvi Jacobsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Zagueiros FC's Alex Rói Jacobsen threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Per Rói Jacobsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rói Jacobsen in the 12th minute of play forced Sund Bóltfelag 's goalkeeper Alex Rói Jacobsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Per Rói Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Rói Jacobsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Rói Jacobsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Zagueiros FC's Rógvi Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Høgni Jacobsen in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Sund Bóltfelag getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sámal Martin Joensen hit a great ball. Rógvi Jacobsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Høgni Jacobsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Torkil Rein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Christian Høgni Jacobsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rógvi Jacobsen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th minute Per Rói Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Rói Jacobsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zagueiros FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Christian Hansen hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torkil Rein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Zagueiros FC's goalkeeper Rógvi Jacobsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Høgni Jacobsen. Christian Høgni Jacobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens Olsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Rói Jacobsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Zagueiros FC's Rógvi Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torkil Rein in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Zagueiros FC defense, Christian Høgni Jacobsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rógvi Jacobsen. The Zagueiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rógvi Jacobsen should have stopped the shot. Christian Hansen charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Hansen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Høgni Jacobsen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rógvi Jacobsen would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 91st match minute, Zagueiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Hansen to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 93 in the game by Christian Høgni Jacobsen from a close distance when the talented Rógvi Jacobsen managed to make a qualified save. Zagueiros FC's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sund Bóltfelag had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
