Spectators: 10800 (Terracing: 8101, Seating: 2484, VIP seats: 215) In the 11th minute, Heini Thomsen made a precise shot to the right of Ronnie Kruse. Strendur ÍF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 14 played minutes Strendur ÍF got a freekick which was hit by Jens Christian Dalbúð. Ronnie Kruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heini Thomsen in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heini Thomsen in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Kruse saved Strendur ÍF from getting behind. In the 36th minute John Martin Joensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heini Thomsen in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Sørvágsfjørður D were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Heini Thomsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Strendur ÍF's Jens Christian Dalbúð got a free kick in the 59th minute. Strendur ÍF's Ronnie Kruse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Strendur ÍF from getting a goal against them. John Martin Joensen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronnie Kruse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Strendur ÍF booed when Sørvágsfjørður D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heini Thomsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, John Martin Joensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sørvágsfjørður D's supporters rose to their feet, but John Martin Joensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Kruse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Strendur ÍF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Heini Thomsen scored to the left of an out of position Ronnie Kruse, making the score, 0-4. Heini Thomsen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ronnie Kruse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sørvágsfjørður D. Strendur ÍF's Ronnie Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Martin Joensen in the 91st minute of play. Sørvágsfjørður D's Heini Thomsen got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jónhard Mikkelsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sørvágsfjørður D's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
