But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Davy Sylla couldn't finish the play. Regin Johannesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Olsen in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Zagueiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Eysturoy to maneuver through the defense. Bárður Thomassen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Per Rói Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Regin Johannesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regin Johannesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Olsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Goleiros FC's Gert Egholm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rógvi Jacobsen. Rógvi Jacobsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jens Olsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regin Johannesen having to interfere. If Jens Olsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zagueiros FC's Christian Eysturoy got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jóhann Falkenberg got free with Rógvi Jacobsen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per Rói Jacobsen during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jens Olsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Rói Jacobsen to strike the kick off in the second half. Zagueiros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marni Frederiksberg in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Zagueiros FC's corner Marni Frederiksberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Regin Johannesen quite easily take care of the ball. Zagueiros FC's Rógvi Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Egholm in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Zagueiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Hansen to maneuver through the defense. Christian Hansen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gert Egholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goleiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert Egholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rógvi Jacobsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per Rói Jacobsen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jens Olsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Regin Johannesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jákup Thomassen charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jákup Thomassen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Marni Frederiksberg fired a really elegant long shot, but Regin Johannesen threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Per Rói Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Zagueiros FC's Regin Johannesen threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Per Rói Jacobsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Goleiros FC booed when Zagueiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diaba Hansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Jens Olsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Goleiros FC's goalkeeper Regin Johannesen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Rói Jacobsen. Jákup Thomassen was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jákup Thomassen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Per Rói Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regin Johannesen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Rói Jacobsen in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Regin Johannesen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bárður Thomassen struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rógvi Jacobsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goleiros FC. In the 95th play minute Jens Olsen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Regin Johannesen. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
