Christian Høgni Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øssur Thomassen having to interfere. Øssur Thomassen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Høgni Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torkil Rein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øssur Thomassen having to interfere. After some careless play in the Atacantes defense, Torkil Rein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Øssur Thomassen. The Atacantes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Øssur Thomassen should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Høgni Jacobsen in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Øssur Thomassen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Christian Høgni Jacobsen sped through Atacantes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Øssur Thomassen. Sund Bóltfelag 's Alex Rói Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkjal Højsted in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Torkil Rein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sund Bóltfelag 's supporters rose to their feet, but Torkil Rein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Øssur Thomassen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes, Christian Høgni Jacobsen made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torkil Rein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sund Bóltfelag 's Alex Rói Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkjal Højsted in the 54th minute of play. Øssur Thomassen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Høgni Jacobsen in the 57th minute. Marni Anghel charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marni Anghel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Øssur Thomassen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Torkil Gunnarsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Høgni Jacobsen in the 61st minute of play forced Atacantes's goalkeeper Øssur Thomassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikkjal Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Marni Anghel was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 66 played minutes, Sund Bóltfelag 's Torkil Gunnarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Øssur Thomassen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sund Bóltfelag reached it. Christian Høgni Jacobsen scored 0-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Øssur Thomassen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Høgni Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Torkil Rein dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Øssur Thomassen, 0-5. After 80 minutes, Óli Eliasen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atacantes and the Sund Bóltfelag players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Óli Eliasen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnbjørn Olsen's late challenge caught a Sund Bóltfelag 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnbjørn Olsen helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Atacantes got a freekick which was hit by Arnbjørn Olsen. 86 minutes into the match, Nenad Joensen notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Atacantes's Øssur Thomassen. Øssur Thomassen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Ingi Thomassen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Høgni Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Øssur Thomassen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Øssur Thomassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torkil Rein in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Sund Bóltfelag could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atacantes throughout the match.
