Tíðarskeið's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Óli Hans Rubeksen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronnie Kruse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 15 minutes, Jens Christian Hansen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tíðarskeið's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Christian Hansen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronnie Kruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óli Hans Rubeksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Andrias Jacobsen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jákup Samuelsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strendur ÍF. In the 24th minute Andrias Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jákup Samuelsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Kruse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens Christian Hansen went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jákup Samuelsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrias Jacobsen went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ronnie Kruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Christian Hansen in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Strendur ÍF's zone, Jens Christian Hansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Kruse came out of the goal and Jens Christian Hansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Jann Mikkelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jákup Samuelsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens Christian Hansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ronnie Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrias Jacobsen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Rein in the 54th minute of play forced Strendur ÍF's goalkeeper Ronnie Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil í Lon Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ronnie Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Christian Hansen in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Rein in the 68th minute of play forced Strendur ÍF's goalkeeper Ronnie Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Jens Rein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Kruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Christian Hansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Tíðarskeið were awarded a corner. Bergur Jacobsen went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Tíðarskeið's corner Jens Rein fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronnie Kruse quite easily take care of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Tíðarskeið's goal looked a bit too open when Andrias Jacobsen came free, but Jákup Samuelsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil í Lon Jacobsen got free with Jákup Samuelsen in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Óli Thomassen came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Strendur ÍF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óli Thomassen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tíðarskeið getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hanus Rein hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrias Jacobsen in the 86th minute of play forced Tíðarskeið's goalkeeper Jákup Samuelsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tíðarskeið's Óli Hans Rubeksen got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Tíðarskeið's Óli Hans Rubeksen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Kruse was left in no man's land by his defense there!
