The supporters of Meio Campo booed when Vestmanna FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jónleif Jacobsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Bárður Martin Joensen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amed Olsen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Meio Campo's Bárður Martin Joensen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Kruse kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ásbjørn Hansen in the 15th minute of the match. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Midjord in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, one of Meio Campo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meio Campo. In the 22nd minute, Ásbjørn Hansen made a precise shot to the right of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. Vestmanna FS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalgrím Kwieciński, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Vestmanna FS's goal looked a bit too open when Ásbjørn Hansen came free, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ásbjørn Hansen in the 37th minute of play. Atli Højsted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Kruse in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meio Campo's René Midjord got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes Meio Campo got a freekick which was hit by Hannis Dalbúð. Brian Færø in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atli Højsted, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Kruse made a kick off. Brian Færø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Atli Højsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Herbert Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ásbjørn Hansen got free with Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Meio Campo fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Meio Campo's Ásbjørn Hansen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hannis Dalbúð managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meio Campo's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannis Dalbúð was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen got control of the ball when Ásbjørn Hansen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Højsted hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Meio Campo's Hjalgrím Kwieciński got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Rói Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atli Højsted having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Hannis Dalbúð was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meio Campo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vestmanna FS the free kick. During the 78th minute of the match Hannis Dalbúð completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hannis Dalbúð a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 79 played minutes Meio Campo got a freekick which was hit by Hannis Dalbúð. 84 minutes into the match, Meio Campo's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Kruse came free, but Atli Højsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ásbjørn Hansen in the 87th minute. Alex Rói Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Atli Højsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ásbjørn Hansen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Meio Campo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
