Villanueva F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Mingo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cordareo Iglesias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Prado Norte F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ioseba Martínez came free, but Cordareo Iglesias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordareo Iglesias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rydz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cordareo Iglesias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. With a little luck, Villanueva F.C's Oso Carrasco got control of the ball when Juan Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ioseba Martínez was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience was convinced that Israel Mingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cordareo Iglesias was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Villanueva F.C's Israel Mingo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Israel Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Prado Norte F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
