With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Dean in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benvido Silva saved Athletic Loranka from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Felix Helguera made a precise shot to the right of Goiz Marin. Real Asturies CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nereo Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benvido Silva having to interfere. Goiz Marin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Helguera in the 31st minute. Benvido Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Dean's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Gaitano Sirvent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes, Real Asturies CF's Rencio Palomar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benvido Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Asturies CF reached it. Benvido Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Dean in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Typhon Galnares was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Nereo Dean from a close distance when the talented Benvido Silva managed to make a qualified save. Athletic Loranka's players were relieved. In the 57th match minute, Real Asturies CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xantalen Briso to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Real Asturies CF booed when Athletic Loranka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Griful didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benvido Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Dean in the 60th minute. Leobardo Olano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benvido Silva was a little too slow when Nereo Dean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 73rd minute, Medardo Companys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benvido Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Benvido Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Dean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nereo Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Asturies CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benvido Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Nereo Dean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rafa Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Asturies CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benvido Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nereo Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
