Castiñeira FC's Antxoka Treviño got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tabaqueros AD's Raphael Negro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Castiñeira FC's Viorel Şendrea got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Antxoka Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabaqueros AD's Eloy Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antxoka Treviño in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Castiñeira FC booed when Tabaqueros AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valery Adán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivareo Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Gaston Gabas made a huge save. Currito Coello's late challenge caught a Castiñeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Currito Coello helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tabaqueros AD! Gaston Gabas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Currito Coello in the 48th minute really tested Gaston Gabas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Castro was the one to do the kick off. Antxoka Treviño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Martin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antxoka Treviño in the 57th minute of play forced Tabaqueros AD's goalkeeper Eloy Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Castiñeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elivareo Herrera came free, but Gaston Gabas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antxoka Treviño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Eloy Martin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute Elivareo Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Gabas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antxoka Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Şendrea in the 81st minute of play. Gaston Gabas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frechoso Villalcazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antxoka Treviño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ceferino Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castiñeira FC's protests and gave Ceferino Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Castiñeira FC! When the referee blew the final whistle, Tabaqueros AD could leave the field as winners, despite Castiñeira FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
