A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Armada in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alirio Zurica saved Camino Mechilles from getting behind. A hard shot 42 in the game by Robustiano Armada from a close distance when the talented Alirio Zurica managed to make a qualified save. Camino Mechilles's players were relieved. After 44 minutes, Robustiano Armada made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Camino Mechilles's Alirio Zurica tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Tarin was the one to do the kick off. Robustiano Armada charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Armada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Robustiano Armada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Armada in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alirio Zurica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montes Campello during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Camino Mechilles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montes Campello to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Armada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alirio Zurica having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U.D.Las Palmas fully deserved thier win.
