The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Beturian Bouzas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LLEIDA B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beturian Bouzas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC LLEIDA B booed when Camino Mechilles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Cardeñosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemencin Cuadrado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camino Mechilles's goalkeeper Alirio Zurica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC LLEIDA B booed when Camino Mechilles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txomin Bartumeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alirio Zurica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Zapatero in the 15th minute. Camino Mechilles's Alirio Zurica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Camino Mechilles from getting a goal against them. With his leg Alirio Zurica managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when FC LLEIDA B's Clemencin Cuadrado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Siro Cardeñosa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camino Mechilles's protests and gave Siro Cardeñosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Camino Mechilles's Siro Cardeñosa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Camino Mechilles getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Felip Marin hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Camino Mechilles's goalkeeper Alirio Zurica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemencin Cuadrado. In the 37th minute, FC LLEIDA B's Quilino Sabina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Alirio Zurica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ander Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, FC LLEIDA B's Quilino Sabina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alirio Zurica. Alirio Zurica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Clemencin Cuadrado in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alirio Zurica, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemencin Cuadrado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alirio Zurica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemencin Cuadrado in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemencin Cuadrado in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alirio Zurica saved Camino Mechilles from getting behind. Santos Tarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Silvio Gimeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alirio Zurica didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC LLEIDA B's Clemencin Cuadrado shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 72 minutes into the match, Clemencin Cuadrado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alirio Zurica. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alirio Zurica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alirio Zurica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemencin Cuadrado's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After 91 played minutes FC LLEIDA B got a freekick which was hit by Ander Ruiz. The audience was convinced that Clemencin Cuadrado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alirio Zurica was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Camino Mechilles's zone, Quilino Sabina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alirio Zurica came out of the goal and Quilino Sabina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
