In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guevara CF's goalkeeper Fabiano Di Placido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eguzki Sauca in the 27th minute of play forced DANIREP's goalkeeper Loreto Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Mahoma Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DANIREP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahoma Negro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano Di Placido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymon Garzon in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Guevara CF's goal looked a bit too open when Raymon Garzon came free, but Fabiano Di Placido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Currito Morientes fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DANIREP's protests and gave Currito Morientes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DANIREP's Currito Morientes got a free kick in the 35th minute. Raymon Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Di Placido having to interfere. Fabiano Di Placido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymon Garzon in the 46th minute of play. After the first half DANIREP were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymon Garzon made a kick off. Mahoma Negro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Fabiano Di Placido made a huge save. In the 53rd minute Eguzki Sauca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loreto Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, DANIREP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manel Novo to maneuver through the defense. Aristeo Santos, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Guevara CF's Fabiano Di Placido got control of the ball when Mahoma Negro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Mahoma Negro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Guevara CF's goal looked a bit too open when Raymon Garzon came free, but Fabiano Di Placido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Di Placido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymon Garzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Bencoiechea's late challenge caught a DANIREP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Bencoiechea helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Guevara CF got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Bencoiechea. Raymon Garzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Guevara CF's goal looked a bit too open when Raymon Garzon came free, but Fabiano Di Placido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahoma Negro got free with Fabiano Di Placido in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DANIREP's Currito Morientes got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Currito Morientes off the ground. The supporters of Guevara CF booed when DANIREP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Currito Morientes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eguzki Sauca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Di Placido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manel Novo in the 82nd minute. Mahoma Negro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Di Placido having to make a save. If Jimeno Pedraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahoma Negro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Di Placido having to interfere. Abelardo Bencoiechea was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mahoma Negro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fabiano Di Placido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DANIREP. Guevara CF's Fabiano Di Placido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Guevara CF from getting a goal against them.
