Lucero Calatayud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Zafrilla in the 21st minute of the match. Olayo Bermejo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Alfackers booed when Club Voleibol Teruel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Zafrilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cruz Pedraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rufio Talavera kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Olayo Bermejo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Cruz Pedraza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Voleibol Teruel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, Cruz Pedraza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lucero Calatayud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Hernán Casillas put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lolo Sobera. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cruz Pedraza was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alfackers's zone, Rufio Talavera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucero Calatayud came out of the goal and Rufio Talavera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute Cruz Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucero Calatayud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Club Voleibol Teruel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alfackers:s goal. The referee gave Alfackers a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lisandro Zapico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Voleibol Teruel's Lolo Sobera. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Pedraza in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucero Calatayud saved Alfackers from getting behind. Cruz Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernán Casillas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rufio Talavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucero Calatayud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cruz Pedraza struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Lucero Calatayud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Voleibol Teruel. When Rufio Talavera came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Club Voleibol Teruel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufio Talavera couldn't finish the play. Olayo Bermejo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Toño Fuente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Voleibol Teruel and the Alfackers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Club Voleibol Teruel got a freekick which was hit by Toño Fuente.
