Canor Yeste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Canor Yeste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benafer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Canor Yeste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enetz Martin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 minutes, Aberri Sarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asturcones d´la abadia and the Benafer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 9 minutes, Amancio Salan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benafer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Salan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Asturcones d´la abadia booed when Benafer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germán Dellasierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zeru Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colas Casas in the 25th minute of play forced Benafer FC's goalkeeper Zeru Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Asturcones d´la abadia got a corner. Benafer FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ponce Jareño ran over to the corner to take the kick. Colas Casas might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeru Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colas Casas ran back to his position shaking his head. Benafer FC's Zeru Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Treviño in the 31st minute of play. Zeru Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Treviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Germán Dellasierra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Samuel Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Colas Casas made a precise shot to the right of Zeru Castro. Benafer FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Salan to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Colas Casas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Zeru Castro to make any attempt to save it. Germán Dellasierra's late challenge caught a Asturcones d´la abadia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germán Dellasierra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, Benafer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Dellasierra to maneuver through the defense. Zeru Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Colas Casas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. If Amancio Salan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asturcones d´la abadia's Samuel Treviño got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Asturcones d´la abadia's Aberri Sarro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Enetz Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Salan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Arias Morera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benafer FC's Zeru Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Benafer FC from getting a goal against them. Zeru Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yago Figueres, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Asturcones d´la abadia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
