Corbera DŽebre FC's Aratz Mangas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derwin Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdin Pascual in the 16th minute of play. When Regis Camacho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Salgueiro UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Regis Camacho couldn't finish the play. Beila Casas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Urdin Pascual who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salgueiro UD's Derwin Gimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vigil Casillas, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Checa Quevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Checa Quevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Checa Quevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Derwin Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdin Pascual in the 38th minute of play. Esquipula Tobias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derwin Gimenez having to interfere. Urdin Pascual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Derwin Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Guerrero was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Aratz Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derwin Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Esquipula Tobias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Derwin Gimenez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Aratz Mangas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Salgueiro UD booed when Corbera DŽebre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esquipula Tobias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, one of Corbera DŽebre FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Aratz Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Claudio Guerrero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Llanos Silva. The goal made the score 1-1. After some careless play in the Salgueiro UD defense, Aratz Mangas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derwin Gimenez. The Salgueiro UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derwin Gimenez should have stopped the shot. After 82 minutes of play, Corbera DŽebre FC's Urdin Pascual made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Derwin Gimenez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 86 played minutes Salgueiro UD got a freekick which was hit by Xuan Huguet. Salgueiro UD's Checa Quevedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Checa Quevedo off the ground. After 90 played minutes, Corbera DŽebre FC's Aloisio Galnares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Derwin Gimenez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corbera DŽebre FC reached it. When Claudio Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salgueiro UD's protests and gave Claudio Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Salgueiro UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corbera DŽebre FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Salgueiro UD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
