Javalí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enol Barba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gartzen Tobia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Javalí FC's zone, Inge Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Bermejo came out of the goal and Inge Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Bermejo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burni Baeza's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Josue Garate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fabio Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oton De Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oton De Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Javalí FC's Oton De Toro got a free kick in the 10th minute. Inge Ortiz scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Bermejo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carballal's Gartzen Tobia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tello Fabelo in the 18th minute of play. Bernardo Castellano's late challenge caught a Javalí FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Castellano helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Carballal's Gartzen Tobia got control of the ball when Auderico Camarasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tello Fabelo in the 29th minute of play forced Carballal's goalkeeper Gartzen Tobia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Carballal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leocadio Lacorte to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Javalí FC booed when Carballal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Castellano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Carballal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fabio Bermejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carballal. After 59 played minutes Carballal got a freekick which was hit by Burni Baeza. After 60 played minutes, Javalí FC's Enol Barba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gartzen Tobia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Javalí FC reached it. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Tello Fabelo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gartzen Tobia. Fabio Bermejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josue Garate in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josue Garate in the 68th minute of play forced Javalí FC's goalkeeper Fabio Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carballal's Benedicto Sobrado was substituted for Yader Sarro. Carballal's Araoz Turienzo was substituted for Leocadio Rodriguez. Inge Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Bermejo having to interfere.
