In the 25th minute Jakes Echeto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Ray took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yosua Izquierdo. Yosua Izquierdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. CD.TENERIFE's Toni Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakes Echeto in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Perles CD's zone, Tolunay Gümüşcü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yosua Izquierdo came out of the goal and Tolunay Gümüşcü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yosua Izquierdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ray in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Perles CD booed when CD.TENERIFE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Cordoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

57 minutes into the match, CD.TENERIFE's goalkeeper Toni Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baudelio Torres. Yosua Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Ray in the 58th minute of the match. Jakes Echeto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Vito Ray managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD.TENERIFE's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Ray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yosua Izquierdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Samuel Nadal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perles CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD.TENERIFE the free kick. The supporters of CD.TENERIFE booed when Perles CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baudelio Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Ray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yosua Izquierdo having to interfere. If Gaspar Cordoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yosua Izquierdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Ray's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Vito Ray struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Yosua Izquierdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD.TENERIFE. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakes Echeto in the 84th minute of play forced CD.TENERIFE's goalkeeper Toni Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Ray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Yosua Izquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakes Echeto in the 88th minute of play forced CD.TENERIFE's goalkeeper Toni Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perles CD's Yosua Izquierdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Ray in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Perles CD defense, Gaspar Cordoba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yosua Izquierdo. The Perles CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yosua Izquierdo should have stopped the shot. CD.TENERIFE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
