In the 8th minute, Turi Bouzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Román Murcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erasmo Redondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etor Diaz in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Okynawa SD's Tiago Sacristán got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Román Murcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turi Bouzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Okynawa SD's Román Murcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frutos Helguera in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Okynawa SD's Andrés Mata got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Turi Bouzon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Okynawa SD's Román Murcia. Román Murcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Okynawa SD's Román Murcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Millán in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufrasio Guerrero in the 44th minute of play forced Okynawa SD's goalkeeper Román Murcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Erasmo Redondo made a huge save. The Okynawa SD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Murcia Imperial C.F. were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turi Bouzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Román Murcia made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Eufemio Clos sent off a good shot on target. Iker Ortiz's late challenge caught a Real Murcia Imperial C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Okynawa SD got a freekick which was hit by Iker Ortiz. The supporters of Real Murcia Imperial C.F. booed when Okynawa SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Baeza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Okynawa SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Sacristán to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Redondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arotza Palomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Okynawa SD's Román Murcia got control of the ball when Turi Bouzon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Nils-Johan Stålesen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Okynawa SD's Andrés Mata quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Frutos Helguera took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Román Murcia. Román Murcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match was over Real Murcia Imperial C.F. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Okynawa SD throughout the match.
