When Valery Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the A.C. Funebrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valery Moreno couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Moreno in the 13th minute of play forced Paugarcia's goalkeeper Saturnino Ruiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Ruiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Valery Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.C. Funebrero booed when Paugarcia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Ucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paugarcia's zone, Diego Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Ruiz came out of the goal and Diego Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Diego Delgado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paugarcia's Saturnino Ruiz. Saturnino Ruiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Delgado in the 30th minute of play forced Paugarcia's goalkeeper Saturnino Ruiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valery Moreno scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Ruiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valery Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Ruiz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Paugarcia defense, Diego Delgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Ruiz. The Paugarcia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Ruiz should have stopped the shot. When A.C. Funebrero's Diego Delgado in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paugarcia's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Delgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0-5 became the score in the 52nd minute when Valery Moreno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Valery Moreno struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Saturnino Ruiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Funebrero. Paugarcia's Saturnino Ruiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Paugarcia from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valery Moreno in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Ruiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Diego Delgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Funebrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The audience was convinced that Ivar Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Ruiz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Saturnino Ruiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valery Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Diego Delgado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Saturnino Ruiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valery Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Diego Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Funebrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valery Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Saturnino Ruiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ismael Bernal fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paugarcia's protests and gave Ismael Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Bernal hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The A.C. Funebrero fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when A.C. Funebrero's Valery Moreno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Saturnino Ruiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valery Moreno in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Paugarcia got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Ucero. A hard shot 93 in the game by Diego Delgado from a close distance when the talented Saturnino Ruiz managed to make a qualified save. Paugarcia's players were relieved. Diego Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Saturnino Ruiz made a huge save. A.C. Funebrero played a much better game than Paugarcia and deserved their victory. The Paugarcia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
