The supporters of R.Ciruel C.F. booed when Real Oviedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gero Gandia got free with Toni Babia in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toni Babia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guido Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Rolf Wilmshöfer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Oviedo's Sergi Campoamor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ander Verdu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 69 minutes of play, R.Ciruel C.F.'s Rolf Wilmshöfer made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergi Campoamor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute of the match, Rolf Wilmshöfer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergi Campoamor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolf Wilmshöfer in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
