Gizon Raya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aristeo Vazquez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Caleruela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Zapico to maneuver through the defense. Gizon Raya stood somewhat misplaced when Domenico Abad came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. 16 minutes into the match, Caleruela FC's goalkeeper Gizon Raya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Abad. Gizon Raya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Jareño in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Caleruela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintan Ponte came free, but Gizon Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Quintan Ponte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astigarraga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caleruela FC the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Astigarraga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintan Ponte to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Astigarraga's goal looked a bit too open when Aratz Montiel came free, but Omar Camino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astigarraga's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintan Ponte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gizon Raya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quintan Ponte made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Eneko Macías got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eneko Macías came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Caleruela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eneko Macías couldn't finish the play. Eneko Macías sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Domenico Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintan Ponte in the 64th minute of play forced Caleruela FC's goalkeeper Gizon Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Zapico charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Zapico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caleruela FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bonifacio Zapico hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Caleruela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristeo Vazquez to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Caleruela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Abad came free, but Gizon Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Astigarraga's Domenico Abad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gizon Raya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eneko Macías had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caleruela FC's Aristeo Vazquez got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Quintan Ponte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gizon Raya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Abad might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gizon Raya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Abad ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Caleruela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lalla Vilanova came free, but Gizon Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, one of Astigarraga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Astigarraga had played much better football throughout.
