Astigarraga's Omar Camino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Dean in the 26th minute of play. If Quintan Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Manuel Quintas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astigarraga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gregorio Solana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintan Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregorio Solana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Abad in the 41st minute of play. Hermelando Montero's late challenge caught a Astigarraga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lalla Vilanova helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of chelsea.club.tigre. booed when Astigarraga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lalla Vilanova didn't get a good kick on the ball.
