Covet's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidal Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Quintero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Covet's Petri Palomares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Covet from getting a goal against them. Petri Palomares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walme Velasco in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Uhin Ruiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Covet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YuBadalona the free kick. The supporters of Covet booed when YuBadalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, YuBadalona's Marciano Martin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petri Palomares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. YuBadalona's Colon Villanueva got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petri Palomares came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by YuBadalona's Walme Velasco. But to his dismay, Walme Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Tino Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Colon Villanueva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Colon Villanueva might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petri Palomares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colon Villanueva ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Tino Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petri Palomares was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Colon Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Palomares having to interfere. If Tino Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uhin Ruiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vidal Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Quintero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vidal Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. Nacho Quintero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uhin Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the YuBadalona defense, Uhin Ruiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nacho Quintero. The YuBadalona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nacho Quintero should have stopped the shot. Walme Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Walme Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YuBadalona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Covet's Ramiro Feal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Pio Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Walme Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YuBadalona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walme Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Tino Duarte put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Petri Palomares. Lastur Domingo took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petri Palomares. Petri Palomares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Tino Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Palomares having to interfere. YuBadalona's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
