Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Josepe Toledo got the match started through his kick off. Xantalen Carballido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josepe Toledo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claus Garay saved Novallas CD from getting behind. Claus Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xantalen Carballido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orti Rubio during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Orti Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 10 in the game by Reimundo Noya from a close distance when the talented Paco Estruch managed to make a qualified save. Azcona CD's players were relieved. Azcona CD were furious when Sol Gabas was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Azcona CD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Novallas CD:s goal. The referee gave Novallas CD a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucila Rajoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Azcona CD's Paco Estruch. 1-0. Paco Estruch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quique Arribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Xantalen Carballido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Novallas CD's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Roig came free, but Claus Garay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claus Garay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xantalen Carballido's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Xantalen Carballido struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Claus Garay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azcona CD. Xantalen Carballido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Claus Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Ubaldo Roig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azcona CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Roig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quique Arribas was the one to do the kick off. Paco Estruch came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Novallas CD's Reimundo Noya. But to his dismay, Reimundo Noya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 69th minute, one of Azcona CD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Azcona CD. The referee gave Novallas CD a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucila Rajoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Azcona CD's Paco Estruch. 3-0. Reimundo Noya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Quique Arribas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Sergio Labarra got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Novallas CD booed when Azcona CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Labarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reimundo Noya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Reimundo Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Estruch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Barro in the 88th minute of play. Novallas CD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Azcona CD for a fine match.
