The crowd rose to their feet as Lleida Esportiu's Pio Quijana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abrahan Roig. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Pio Quijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Abrahan Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xurxo Quijana during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FUERZA X getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Xurxo Quijana hit a great ball. Abrahan Roig made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Zumar Infante sent off a good shot on target. When FUERZA X's Albino Salazar in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lleida Esportiu's goalie prevented a goal. Abrahan Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pio Quijana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FUERZA X's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anchel Verdaguer was slow to take the kick. During this time Lleida Esportiu's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anchel Verdaguer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abrahan Roig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pio Quijana in the 29th minute of play forced FUERZA X's goalkeeper Abrahan Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zumar Infante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Agusti Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FUERZA X and the Lleida Esportiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agusti Santos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zumar Infante got free with Abrahan Roig in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zumar Infante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abrahan Roig having to interfere. During the 45th minute of the match Xurxo Quijana completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xurxo Quijana a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Xurxo Quijana hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Abrahan Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pio Quijana's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Roca was the one to do the kick off. Anxelu Zapico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abrahan Roig having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Zumar Infante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pio Quijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abrahan Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Zumar Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abrahan Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FUERZA X getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Albino Salazar hit a great ball. Abrahan Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pio Quijana's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Fausto Roca came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FUERZA X fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Roca couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Lleida Esportiu were awarded a corner. Anchel Verdaguer went to the cornerflag to take it. If Zumar Infante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zumar Infante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lleida Esportiu getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Xulio Acarreta hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FUERZA X players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lleida Esportiu.
