Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Lisandro Moñiz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Raphael Castan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizkine Rodriguez having to interfere. Gaizkine Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Zirwes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Lisandro Moñiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Björn Zirwes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaizkine Rodriguez. Björn Zirwes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ekialde Acha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gaizkine Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcio Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaizkine Rodriguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcio Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Björn Zirwes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaizkine Rodriguez, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ekialde Acha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coristanco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekialde Acha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaizkine Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eneko Abrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, U.D.SALAMANCA S.A.D.'s goalkeeper Gaizkine Rodriguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphael Castan. Benito Zárate made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Coristanco's Ermegildo Incera. With his leg Gaizkine Rodriguez managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Coristanco's Raphael Castan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ekialde Acha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gaizkine Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Moñiz in the 41st minute of play. Gaizkine Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Zirwes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Raphael Castan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coristanco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Castan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ekialde Acha was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Coristanco's Raphael Castan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaizkine Rodriguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 57th minute, Adriano Ursini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Eneko Abrego had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Cuadrado. Coristanco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eneko Abrego was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Florencio Cuadrado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eneko Abrego in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, U.D.SALAMANCA S.A.D.'s Aquilino Jorquera got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in U.D.SALAMANCA S.A.D.'s zone, Raphael Castan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaizkine Rodriguez came out of the goal and Raphael Castan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Coristanco's Florencio Cuadrado got control of the ball when Eneko Abrego tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ekialde Acha came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Coristanco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekialde Acha couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Jorquera hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Raphael Castan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Coristanco booed when U.D.SALAMANCA S.A.D. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibar Barberá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oro De Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaizkine Rodriguez. U.D.SALAMANCA S.A.D.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. U.D.SALAMANCA S.A.D.'s Gaizkine Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekialde Acha in the 84th minute of play. Björn Zirwes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaizkine Rodriguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Raphael Castan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaizkine Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Gaizkine Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekialde Acha in the 90th minute of play. Gaizkine Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Zirwes in the 91st minute of the match. Eneko Abrego charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eneko Abrego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute Adriano Ursini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizkine Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaizkine Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekialde Acha in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Coristanco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
