If Mai Qing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Benjamin Sampil managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Ángels Sc's Pitin Contreras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mai Qing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Sampil having to make a save. If Cleto Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Mai Qing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Sampil was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ángels Sc's Cleto Pepillo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mai Qing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Benjamin Sampil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Cleto Pepillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ángels Sc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ángels Sc had played much better football throughout.
