Peñolite's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Bure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Peñolite's goal looked a bit too open when Donatello Guasch came free, but Gentza Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazuste Carballeira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Xulian Nadal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Donatello Guasch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toros Poderosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peñolite the free kick. Donatello Guasch hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Barroso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Toros Poderosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazuste Carballeira to maneuver through the defense. If James Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Juliano Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peñolite were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
