Spectators: 1500 (Terracing: 1200, Seating: 300, VIP seats: 0) Botorrita's Gorri Mayor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Xalo Riba came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the huachipato forever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xalo Riba couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Botorrita's goalkeeper Playo Pedrosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Barrios. Eulalio Barrios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Playo Pedrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Carlomagno got free with Playo Pedrosa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eulalio Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Playo Pedrosa having to interfere. Botorrita's Playo Pedrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalo Riba in the 18th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Botorrita got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Bouzas. Xalo Riba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Playo Pedrosa having to interfere. Xalo Riba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute, Eulalio Barrios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Playo Pedrosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Botorrita! Playo Pedrosa went to the wrong direction when Felip Marcilla was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Xalo Riba took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Playo Pedrosa to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xalo Riba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Playo Pedrosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Barrios in the 51st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Xalo Riba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Botorrita's Playo Pedrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalo Riba in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Botorrita's zone, Damaso Carlomagno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Playo Pedrosa came out of the goal and Damaso Carlomagno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Botorrita getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Falo Molina hit a great ball. If Xalo Riba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Eulalio Barrios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Playo Pedrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute huachipato forever were awarded a corner. Felip Marcilla went to the cornerflag to take it. Gorri Mayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eulalio Barrios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Baños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Playo Pedrosa having to interfere. If Xalo Riba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Gibert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bouzas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Xalo Riba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Playo Pedrosa having to make a save.
