Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Sondika FC's Nacho Morales started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aris Milonas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gaizka Camino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sondika FC! Gaizka Camino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatolio Castelao in the 15th minute of play. Gaizka Camino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gaizka Camino was a little too slow when Nacho Morales got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. The supporters of Moral De Calatrava booed when Sondika FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nacho Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tirso Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Caballero made a kick off. 64 minutes into the match, Anatolio Castelao notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Moral De Calatrava's Gaizka Camino. Gaizka Camino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sondika FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. José Paz hit a great ball. Sondika FC's Tirso Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sondika FC from getting a goal against them. If Aris Milonas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Dario Caballero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anatolio Castelao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizka Camino having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Aznar Barrientos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tirso Rey. Aznar Barrientos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Nacho Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatolio Castelao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizka Camino having to interfere.
