The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciriaco Segarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Llope Diez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gero Pena during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gero Pena hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Llope Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meder Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 9 minutes, Ariando Gasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabe a Mixta and the Gascue CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Sabe a Mixta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariando Gasso to maneuver through the defense. Llope Diez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Justin Coira. Sabe a Mixta's Llope Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meder Baltanas in the 16th minute of play. If Siro Sobera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meder Baltanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gascue CF's Siro Sobera, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gascue CF. Sabe a Mixta's Llope Diez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sabe a Mixta from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gascue CF's Ciriaco Segarra got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gero Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isandro Zubizarreta having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Meder Baltanas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gascue CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Meder Baltanas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llope Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Meder Baltanas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Llope Diez. The goal made the score 1-0. Florencio Correa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Llope Diez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Gascue CF's Siro Sobera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Llope Diez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Llope Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meder Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Justin Coira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Chan Borrás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Florencio Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Sobera struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Llope Diez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gascue CF. After having played for 69 minutes, Meder Baltanas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gascue CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meder Baltanas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabe a Mixta's Llope Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meder Baltanas in the 71st minute of play. Jacques Ruiz in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isandro Zubizarreta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Sabe a Mixta defense, Siro Sobera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llope Diez. The Sabe a Mixta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llope Diez should have stopped the shot.
