If Sebastián Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Calafello AFC's Miro Mondejar got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Sebastián Gibert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Gibert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filomeno Carballido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urko Serena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arximiro Solano came out and tried to block the shot, but Urko Serena slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Tano Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Carballido in the 21st minute of play. When Kalo FC's Sebastián Gibert in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calafello AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Urko Serena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arximiro Solano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calafello AFC's zone, Sebastián Gibert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tano Medina came out of the goal and Sebastián Gibert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tano Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Carballido in the 28th minute of the match. Sergi Portillo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergi Portillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arximiro Solano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergi Portillo in the 38th minute of play. Armando Abancens might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arximiro Solano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Abancens ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Calafello AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Miro Mondejar hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urko Serena made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Abancens in the 54th minute of play forced Kalo FC's goalkeeper Arximiro Solano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalo FC's Arximiro Solano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urko Serena in the 58th minute of play. Edgard Galdamez's late challenge caught a Calafello AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Galdamez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Calafello AFC booed when Kalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urko Serena in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arximiro Solano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Urko Serena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Abancens in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arximiro Solano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tano Medina was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michel Benítez. In the 70th minute, Sergi Portillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Calafello AFC's Miro Mondejar got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Carballido in the 81st minute of play forced Calafello AFC's goalkeeper Tano Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kalo FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Urtzi Revuelta hit a great ball. If Armando Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Carballido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tano Medina. That made the score 1-1 in the 89 minute of play. Sebastián Gibert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tano Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Carballido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tano Medina having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
