A beautiful save bye El Escorial's goalie prevented a goal. Blanco Alcalde hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Vasco Cross charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasco Cross the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, El Escorial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Cross to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Bermejo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by TXORDENA's Llin Puyol. But to his dismay, Llin Puyol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The El Escorial players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TXORDENA were winning 1-2.

In the 56thth minute of the game Llin Puyol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Escorial's Jorge Bermejo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th match minute, El Escorial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Sevilla came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by El Escorial's Ricardo Almeida. But to his dismay, Ricardo Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 80th match minute, TXORDENA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TXORDENA booed when El Escorial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joan Cardeñosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Sevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Almeida in the 87th minute of play. Ximen Cerreri struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jorge Bermejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TXORDENA. In the 96th minute Llin Puyol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TXORDENA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TXORDENA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
