Rexino Quintana took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gartzen Diaz. Gartzen Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Veremundo Morado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Medina in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Lonzo Castillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerpio and the Garganta De Los Montes UD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berto Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gartzen Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Garganta De Los Montes UD booed when Nerpio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureo Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emilio Teruel fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nerpio's protests and gave Emilio Teruel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nerpio getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emilio Teruel hit a great ball. Bartolomé Cuevas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gartzen Diaz made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Rexino Quintana sent off a good shot on target. Berto Diaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gartzen Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berto Diaz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 70 minutes, Ekhi Blazquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garganta De Los Montes UD and the Nerpio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Ekhi Blazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nerpio's Gartzen Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berto Diaz in the 94th minute of play. Garganta De Los Montes UD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
