When Justino Machado fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bachicabo CD's protests and gave Justino Machado a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Sirvent in the 26th minute of play forced U.D Vistabella's goalkeeper Amarante Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Alvaro Cerreri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Gandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aresti De Pablo having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Lluciano Baños tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aresti De Pablo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 41 played minutes U.D Vistabella got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Riba. Angelines Cayuela hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Amarante Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Pedriza, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selmo Baltanas was the one to do the kick off. Juan Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amarante Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selmo Baltanas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Lluciano Baños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aresti De Pablo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U.D Vistabella booed when Bachicabo CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tito Sirvent didn't get a good kick on the ball. U.D Vistabella's Lluciano Baños got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Selmo Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anakoz Alacuart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bachicabo CD's goalkeeper Aresti De Pablo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D Vistabella's goalkeeper Amarante Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
