Vilamor Santa Maria FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claude Villalcazar ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Claude Villalcazar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tito Lagunas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vermudo Gandia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vermudo Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Auderico Fonticoba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tito Lagunas firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Quinto Odín managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilamor Santa Maria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinto Odín was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Riells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Vilamor Santa Maria FC's Vermudo Gandia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramón Riells made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinto Odín in the 39th minute of play. Ramón Riells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinto Odín in the 40th minute of the match. If Vermudo Gandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quinto Odín was the one to do the kick off.
